Hi hi hi !

Notes about Kyoto and Nara Trip

Posted by: nanik on: September 9, 2008

November 29th to December 2nd, 2006

I had a great and nice experience when I attended Kyoto and Nara Trip together with all of 2006 Hitachi Scholarship awardess, Nuno San, and Iko San. It would be different if I had the same trip alone. The most interesting part in this trip is we can share the same experiences together in the same environment with various feelings such as fun, tired, bad mood, good mood, hungry, full, boring, interesting. This trip can tighten the relationship between us. I supposed that this relationship keep continue until all of us finish our study and go back to our country.

I enjoy this trip very much. Start from the transportation, English speaking guide, hotel, food, until the places we visited, all of them are very satisfied. I have some notes about the most things in the trip below.

The most beautiful place is … ehm. It is difficult, because each place is beautiful and has its own characteristic. But maybe, the most beautiful is Kinkakuji Temple and then
Nijojo Castle.

The funniest experience is when all of the seven of us sang together in karaoke room at Nikko Nara Hotel. The most noisy but funniest song is `Bring me to life` by duet of Sutikno san and Tanya san. And the most sadden song is `When you tell me that you love me` by me. I remember and miss my children so much when I sang this song.

The most delicious food is … ehm. It is also difficult. All of food is delicious and has very good presentation. Before eating, I always feel regret to eat the food. But, I must eat because I was hungry :)

The most challenge experience is when we have a chance to try Yuzen printing on handkerchief and covering. This is a valuable experience because we can try a traditional Japanese printing by our self. For me, this is an unforgettable moment.

The most worry incident is when I saw dear shoot Hayati San twice at Nara garden. Wow! It will be an unforgettable experience for Hayati San.

That is all about Kyoto and Nara Trip. Thank you for Hitachi. Special thanks for Nuno San who had arranged this trip, and also for Iko San who had guided us with her fluent English speaking.

Hopefully, all of us can get other trip again next year :)
